The Fourth Edition of Arena per Tutti

With the support from Accessibility Partner Müller, Fondazione Arena presents the 2026 edition of Arena per Tutti—a project dedicated to making the Arena di Verona Opera Festival more accessible than ever before.

The program includes multisensory tours to discover the backstage, accessible trailers and digital opera booklets, Easy-to-Read opera guides, and 2,600 seats reserved for people with sensory and intellectual disabilities. All content is available in three languages: Italian, English, and German.

The Festival’s accessibility project is coordinated by Professor Elena Di Giovanni, with the support of Professor Francesca Raffi from the University of Macerata.

As part of the 2026 edition of Arena per Tutti, 26 performances will include accessibility services and digital materials designed for people with sensory and intellectual disabilities.

Arena for All Dates 2026

26 evenings of opera with La Traviata, Nabucco, Aida and Turandot, from June to September, for the "Arena for All" project. 26 evenings that makes the Arena di Verona accessibile to all, during which everyone will be able to follow the opera with ad hoc supports and paths including audio description for the blind and specific subtitles for the deaf.

All the 26 evenings, including the 19 that offer sensory itineraries, are now available to book.

Multisensory tours

As part of the 2026 Arena per Tutti program, 19 of the 26 accessible performances will also offer the option to book multisensory backstage tours—completely free of charge.

During these tours, people with disabilities and their companions will have the opportunity to explore sets, costumes, and stage props—guided by the stage crew and the skilled artisans who brought the shows to life in Fondazione Arena’s workshops. Each tour is thoughtfully designed to meet a range of needs, making the Festival more inclusive for everyone.

When multisensory tours are not scheduled before the performance, audience members can still enter the Arena early to enjoy its unique atmosphere. They are free to explore the stalls, take in the setting, and engage with the opera using accessible digital materials on their smartphones.

Accessibility services and digital materials

As part of the Arena per Tutti project, a range of services and digital materials has been developed to meet the needs of people with sensory and intellectual disabilities, offering a truly inclusive opera experience.
