«Gloria all’Egitto» (Glory to Egypt) and Aida, the masterpiece of the Arena, which (from 10 August to 5 September) will be staged for five performances with the 1913 production and scenes by Ettore Fagiuoli. Recovered in 1982 by Gianfranco de Bosio, the show (which has become the longest in the Arena’s history) will carry you back into the vintage atmospheres that, in the early 20th century, accompanied the creation of the Festival itself.
