How to get there

A4 Serenissima Milano-Venezia motorway, exiting at Verona Sud.

A 22 Brennero - Modena, reaching the junction with the A4 towards Venice with exit at Verona Sud.

When you get off the motorway exit, follow the sign saying 'all directions' and then the one for the city centre.

The city centre is connected to the neighbouring municipalities and Lake Garda by a public bus service. The bus station is located in the forecourt of the Verona Porta Nuova railway station. To check timetables and directions, please visit the Azienda Trasporti Verona (ATV) website.

The main station is Verona Porta Nuova, which is located at the junction of the Milan-Venice and the Brenner-Rome lines. There are connections to all major Italian railway stations by direct trains, Intercity, Eurostar and DB trains throughout the day.

Approximate journey times by high-speed train: from Padua 45 minutes; from Vicenza 25 minutes; from Venice 1 hour and 10 minutes; from Milan 1 hour and 20 minutes; from Rome 4 hours and 10 minutes or 2 hours and 50 minutes without change. From the station you can access buses to the centre, with a stop in Piazza Bra, the central square where the Arena Amphitheatre is located.
